Bon Jovi is a pop rock band with an incredibly loyal fan base. They have played countless shows at stadiums around the world. Their hit songs have sold millions of records, and their musical prowess has earned them numerous awards.
The group, which started in Sayreville, New Jersey, consists of Jon Bon Jovi, David Bryan, Tico Torres, and Phil X. It’s been a long time since they’ve performed a concert, but Bon Jovi recently returned to the road with their 2022 tour.
Fans who purchased tickets to the concert were treated to classic hits, as well as more recent songs. Fans were greeted with the first single from Bon Jovi’s upcoming 2020 album, “Limitless.” In addition to the new song, the show included classic hits such as Slippery When Wet, The Radio Saved My Life Tonight, and What About Now.
The concert lasted nearly two hours, and was a complete blast. Throughout the show, the band kept the audience on their feet with dance moves, jazz hands, and jumping jacks. One of the more notable songs, “Who Says You Can’t Go Home,” had fans clapping and singing along.
Fans were treated to an amazing concert film by Bon Jovi. Presented in select North American theaters, the film features a breathtaking theatre backdrop. Featuring all of the band’s classic hits and more, the movie is an incredible experience.
Aside from the music, the show was a total spectacle. Jon Bon Jovi wore a black leather jacket and black jeans, and performed in front of a dazzling stage filled with a giant network of lights. Hundreds of people were on hand for the performance. Other notable performances included a short rendition of the Eagles’ hit, “Who Says You Can’t go Home,” and a shortened version of Aerosmith’s “Have a Nice Day.”
Jon Bon Jovi’s voice is one of the biggest draws of the band, and the singer’s voice has been subject to a fair amount of criticism over the years. But, the good news is that he’s never sounded better than he did on this evening. At one point, he even sounded like he was in the prime of his career, as he sounded like he was channeling Axl Rose.
Though the performance was a bit rocky at times, Bon Jovi delivered a great show. As the lead-off concert on their 2022 tour, it was a fitting way to kick off the tour. This was also the last major show they will do on this tour.
After the Concert For New York, Bon Jovi will be taking a two-month break from touring. The tour is expected to feature several new songs, including “Just Older,” which hasn’t been performed in over a decade. However, the band’s hits are still some of the best in the business.
