When Bon Jovi formed in 1983 in Sayreville, New Jersey, they likely never dreamed their music would reach across the generations. The rock band’s arena-filling shows and instantly recognizable hits have made them one of the most successful bands of all time. The group’s appeal is timeless, and fans still pack arenas to see Jon Bon Jovi, David Bryan, Phil X, Tico Torres, and Hugh McDonald perform hits like “Livin’ on a Prayer” and “Who Says You Can’t Go Home.”
With more than 100 million albums sold, and countless awards and nominations to their name, Bon Jovi remains a musical icon. Whether they’re performing for thousands of fans in an arena, or just for a few friends at a private party, the music is always there to be enjoyed.
As a tribute to their enduring legacy, the band decided to take a different approach to the live experience by recording 12 of their biggest hits in an acoustic setting. The result is the album This Left Feels Right, which showcases their classic tunes in a fresh and exciting way.
The band is now back on the road with a larger run of performances. The first show of the tour kicked off on June 10 in Tacoma, WA. The trek will extend through late July, with the final two dates taking place in Madison Square Garden. The tour will be joined by special guest Bryan Adams.

Although a few shows were canceled during the coronavirus pandemic, Bon Jovi was among the first big-name acts to relaunch their Encore Drive-In Nights virtual concert series in 2022. The band recorded a show at the Paramount Theatre in Asbury Park and showed it to theaters and drive-ins around the country.
Fans who were lucky enough to attend the show report that the performance was excellent. One gripe, however, is that the band didn’t play all of its greatest hits. Some songs were dropped, including “Runaway,” which was mentioned several times but was never played. This was a shame, since it’s one of the most popular hits from Slippery When Wet.
