Bon Jovi is Back on the Road for a New Tour in April

Formed in the 1980s as one of the most formidable rock outfits, Bon Jovi remains today to prove arena rock is far from dead. The band is kicking off their next tour in April and will hit the road for several shows that will take them across North America and Europe. Bon Jovi fans can expect a full setlist packed with the band’s best hits.

Jon Bon Jovi was born in Middlesex, New Jersey in 1962 and grew up in the tough Jersey Shore neighborhood of South River. He skipped college and was working as a gofer at a Manhattan recording studio when he wrote “Runaway,” his wide-eyed response to the teenage streetwalkers who thronged the Port Authority bus terminal on his commute into the city. The song was a smash on the local radio and it propelled Bon Jovi to national fame and fortune. He rounded up a group of acquaintances, including a guitarist named Richie Sambora, and they formed the band that would become Bon Jovi.

After four decades, the band continues to sell millions of albums and thrill audiences around the world with their massive live shows. Whether you’re a longtime fan or have just discovered the band, there’s no better way to see Bon Jovi than in person. The band’s latest tour promises to be an unforgettable experience, with the legendary band hitting venues across the country for a series of sold-out shows.

The band is also releasing a new documentary, “Thank You, Goodnight: The Bon Jovi Story,” to coincide with the tour. The four-episode film chronicles the band’s rise and success. It also sheds light on some of the struggles the band has faced in recent years, such as Bon Jovi’s vocal health after having surgery for a voice problem.

Despite the challenges, the band continues to rock and roll. Jon Bon Jovi, now 62, still has his swagger and his love for the music, and he has no plans to retire any time soon.
